History and Development

After Edsarenumberone was published on January 12, 2005, Ryan "Fernando Crescando", known online as Ryan11, Krisfan01, theedmaster, peplarry12, and finally, his pseudonym FernandoCrescando, has always had the idea of creating a cartoon. Ed, Edd n' Eddy has inspired him...

(examples would be a few short books I made in kindergarten, a crossover of Ed, Edd n' Eddy and Johnny Bravo, simply titled Ed, Edd n' Eddy meets Jhooney Brovo)

But he also had inspiration from Spongebob- he wanted to make it successful. Also, after watching The X's when it aired in late 2005, he noticed it was unsuccessful because it was believed to copy The Incredibles. That gave him the idea to try and possess originality.

The idea of actually creating a cartoon and sending it off seemed like fantasy to him, that is until he felt the urge to create one for real after seeing the Spongebob Squarepants episode "Krusty Towers", which aired on April 1, 2006. He didn't really have any vision of what he was going to create, but he wanted to be a bit spontaneous. The next day he made a few pictures for fun of an episode of a random show called "Kris Towers". What started the entire idea of The Kris Show is when Ryan had found his title card to be poorly drawn. Angrily, to make fun of his work, he scribbled out the title card and began to deface it with doodles.

One of them, now destroyed, was a boy with a stretched out mouth. He had crossed eyes, lines for hair, a white muscle shirt that said "Kris" on it, green boxer shorts, and black rectangular shoes.

. A spark of genius hit Ryan. The doodle sent an entire pulse of brain activity, giving him bursts of ideas and envisions of episodes all in about two seconds. It's time to start the evolving. Eventually that day, he has evolved into the character Kris Slobman and with the idea coming to him at 5:32 PM on April 2, 2006, The Kris Show was born.

On July 16, 2006, Ryan made an independent site named Milk n Berries, named after Kris's favorite snack. It had the episode descriptions, characters, games, locations, and a guestbook. After Edco was founded five months later on December 1, the site joined the list on March 14, 2007. The official site was shut down on February 17, 2008. It remained defunct until July 8, 2008.

Though he intended for the project to be strong, the first script wasn't written until December 30, 2007 and the animation has yet to be done. He didn't finish the first script until May 2008, and was having difficulty with the scripts for the next three episodes. But, the project will remain strong no matter what. On May 30, 2008, the Milk n Berries Bakeover started and continued until July 2, 2008.

With the actual progress taking full effect, Ryan had finished writing the script for the first online short "Terrimarketers" on August 12, 2009. He had started the storyboard and recording the voices the next day and is around a half of the way done as of November 18, 2009.

The first short is scheduled to debut on January 1, 2010.

The Plot

Kris Slobman, thirteen-year-old kid with an outrageously large mouth and an IQ of 9, lives in the fictional Long Island town of Ferguson Hill in the year 2012, which is a normal suburban town, and hasn't been noticed as significantly life changing...that is until 2009. By then, a llama has escaped from the Walter M. Ferguon Zoo, soon heading for a Nuclear Power Plant. A nuclear explosion affects much of the town's population, but in order to prevent the town itself from being completely infected with radiation, the town is moved every now and again, leaving various predicaments for Kris, his friends, and his lifestyle, especially with the rest of Long Island in a riot.
